Houston Media Source has operated as a public access media institution since the 1980s — training media professionals, airing community meetings, and giving neighborhoods a platform that commercial media ignores.
Once closed, public access media infrastructure cannot be rebuilt. The relationships, the equipment, the institutional knowledge, and the trust accumulated over 40 years are gone permanently.
Every signature is logged by ZIP code into the OQRIS Civic Intelligence Dashboard. The geographic data and community representation are presented to City of Houston officials as formal civic evidence.
