The first step towards becoming a community producer at Houston MediaSource is to attend one of our free orientation sessions.

Orientation for our TV programming  is held Mondays at 6 p.m. (except holidays) in our office at 410 Roberts, 77003.

Orientation for radio broadcasting can be scheduled with HMS Net Radio Program Director, Ronnie Renfrow, by e-mail or phone: 713.524.7700 x121.

To submit programming for airing on Houston Media Source Television or HMS Net Radio, you must first pay an annual producer fee and then take the appropriate course in either Media Literacy or Radio Literacy. Producers may use HMS equipment, studios, and editing facilities once they have completed the required certification classes. Click here for a class schedule.
